Position Summary: The Office of Workforce Development at Lasell University in Newton, Massachusetts seeks an initiative-taking and collaborative individual to assume the responsibilities of a part-time position as the Coordinator of Clinical Education of a new Associate Degree of Science Program in Radiologic Technology Program.


The successful candidate will demonstrate excellence and enthusiasm in supporting program and curriculum design, as well as developing, managing, and maintaining all aspects of clinical education under the guidance of the program director, and in accordance with accreditation standards. The successful candidate will support student advocacy, commit to productivity and professional development, and serve and promote excellence and effectiveness in the program.
The coordinator of clinical education will join our growing department of workforce development, and report to the radiological technology program director. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between academic instruction and clinical practice, ensuring students receive high-quality, hands-on training in diverse healthcare settings.


Responsibilities:


•Create, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of clinical education for the Radiologic Technology program under the leadership, guidance, and supervision of the program director in accordance with all accreditation requirements and standards.
•Develop and maintain relationships with clinical affiliates to secure and manage student placement.
•Ensure compliance with accreditation standards (e.g., JRCERT) and institutional policies.
•Evaluate student performance in clinical settings and provide feedback and support.
•Collaborate with faculty to integrate clinical experiences with didactic instruction.
•Conduct site visits and monitor clinical instructors to ensure quality and consistency.
•Maintain accurate records of student clinical hours, competencies, and evaluations.
•Assist in curriculum development and program assessment activities.
•Participate in recruitment, orientation, and advisement of students.

Qualifications

Qualifications:


•Minimum Bachelor’s degree in radiologic technology
•Current ARRT certification in Radiography.
•Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in radiologic technology.
•Minimum of 1 year of instructor experience.
•Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
•Knowledge of accreditation standards and clinical education best practices.


Preferred Skills:


•Proficient in curriculum development, supervision, instruction, and evaluation
•Experience with learning management systems and clinical tracking software.
•Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
•Commitment to student success and professional development.
