Job Purpose

The Quality Improvement (QI) Analyst will specialize in conducting routine program audit reviews and will coach/educate clinical leaders and teams to ensure staff/programs are meeting regulatory compliance requirements and following agency/program policies and procedures.  

 Qualifications                                                            

  • Meet the requirements to be a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) or Quality Addiction Professional (QAP). 
  • Meet the minimum requirements to be clinically privileged by FCC Behavioral Health.                                                                  

Core Job Duties 

  • Works closely with the Quality Improvement (QI) Officer and QI Department to promote an organization-wide culture of quality. 
  • Develops methods of engaging and developing team members in the work of quality initiatives and improvement measures. 
  • Conducts focused reviews to ensure compliance with accreditation and/or certification standards. 
  • Performs root cause analysis of issues related to missed outcomes, trends, quality, or other clinical issues and develops solutions for improvement and resolution of root cause issues. 
  • Identifies quality events, concerns, and needs. Reports these to the QI Officer and develops strategies to make improvements. 
  • Identifies, develops, and implements data driven strategies to ensure program success. 
  • In collaboration with the QI Officer, conducts performance meetings with Officers/Directors to develop tailored quality improvement plans for direct care providers. 
  • Provides clinical coaching, training, and support to improve the knowledge, skills, and competencies required to successfully perform therapy and/or other clinical services. 
  • Develops a process to monitor and measure treatment fidelity for mental health therapy services.  Provides expertise on best practices. 
  • Provides clinical expertise to ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements. 
  • Participates in internal and external audits/reviews.
  • Adherence to all applicable evidence-based practice models. 
  • Orally communicate information effectively and accurately. 
  • Assure program operates within the constraints of the agency’s certification (CARF, DMH) standards and strategic plan related to clinical care.                                           
  • Abide by program and agency policies and procedures.
