Join a forward-thinking construction company that’s committed to innovation, quality, and continuous improvement. This is your chance to make a real impact—streamlining how we deliver projects from the ground up in this fixed term role.

ASCOT GROUP is a national commercial construction and refurbishment company, proudly delivering high-quality solutions across the Aged Care, Retirement Living, Healthcare, and Education sectors.

With a team of around 100 professionals, we’re driven by a deep understanding of our clients’ needs, a commitment to quality workmanship, and strong operational systems.

About the Role

As our Process Improvement Lead, you’ll take the reins on redesigning and standardising key operational processes across the project lifecycle. Using Lean, Agile, BPM, and emerging technologies, you’ll help us build scalable, efficient, and future-ready workflows that support excellence in project delivery.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead the mapping and redesign of critical processes to boost project quality, consistency, and efficiency
  • Apply Lean, Agile, and BPM methodologies to eliminate waste and streamline workflows
  • Collaborate with project teams to understand current practices and identify improvement opportunities
  • Recommend and implement smart technologies (e.g. automation, AI tools, digital forms) to reduce manual effort
  • Run agile-style sprints to co-design and test new processes and tools with end users
  • Create clear documentation—future-state process maps, SOPs, training guides
  • Drive adoption through structured change and stakeholder engagement
  • Track success using process metrics and performance dashboards
  • Stay ahead of the curve with industry trends and tech innovations in construction

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years in process improvement, business transformation, or operational excellence (construction/project delivery preferred)
  • Strong background in Lean, Six Sigma, or BPM methodologies
  • Practical experience with Agile practices (sprints, backlogs, demos, retrospectives)
  • Proven ability to implement tech and automation solutions that drive efficiency
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and change leadership skills
  • Proficiency with process mapping tools (e.g. Visio) and data platforms
  • Bonus: Knowledge of construction processes and project lifecycles
