Introduction

Beier Drawtex Healthcare invites applications from experienced Medical Sales Consultant (Advanced Wound Care) to manage the KwaZulu-Natal territory.

This role reports to the National Sales Manager and is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share and strengthening clinical partnerships across both the private and public healthcare sectors.

The Role

You will take full accountability for your territory, including:

  • Achieving and exceeding defined sales targets
  • Promoting and launching advanced wound care products to hospitals, specialists and key stakeholders
  • Engaging with Key Opinion Leaders and clinical decision-makers
  • Managing relationships across procurement, pharmacy, nursing and clinical teams
  • Navigating private and public sector buying processes, including tender environments
  • Delivering structured product training and in-service education
  • Monitoring competitor activity and market dynamics
  • Maintaining accurate territory planning, forecasting and reporting

 

This is a field-based role requiring regular travel within KwaZulu-Natal and occasional attendance at conferences or professional events outside standard hours.

Candidate Profile

We are seeking commercially driven professionals with:

  • Grade 12 (essential)
  • Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. Nursing Diploma, Life Sciences, Biomedical or related field)
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in hospital medical device or pharmaceutical sales
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong understanding of hospital procurement and tender processes
  • Established relationships within the KZN territory (advantageous)
  • Excellent presentation and product training capability
  • High ethical standards and professional credibility
  • Valid driver’s licence
