Job Purpose / Position Summary

Lead the process improvement program globally. Ensure continuous improvement to drive zero defect program using six sigma methodology and structural problem solving

Principle Accountabilities / Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible to drive the global QA and PI projects (Assist in DOE, trials and solution exploration) & liaising with cross functional team such as technology/C&I/Operations
  • Liaising with regional Process improvement teams to share the best practices and deploying improvementsΒ Β 
  • Drive the Zero defect program globally to ensure effective deployment Β 
  • Responsible for developing global P-FMEA and control plan for CTQ and deploy in the regions/plants
  • Owner of GPS (global practice sharing) program
  • Responsible for Identifying and developing the programs for lesson learned to reduce claims
  • Support plants in structural problem solving using 8D methodology and statistical tools
  • Co-ordinate with regional teams and R&D to develop the process setting and test method for new products/machines/processes
  • Test methods development to reduce testing error, bring efficiency, reduce cost and lead time.
  • Responsible for developing customer process database to continuously improve product quality.

  • Knowledge of tube making/plastic extrusion/laminate is preferred

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.)
Master of Business Administration (MBA)

Work Experience

6+ years of experience in Manufacturing / Quality/process improvement
