Medical and Rehab Liaisons
The Clinical Liaison oversees Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) on assigned units, ensuring effective patient care and compliance with standards. This role collaborates closely with LVNs, Clinical Supervisors, Unit Directors/Managers, and the House Supervisor to support patient care processes and implement departmental plans.
Responsibilities::
Oversight:
- Supervise LVNs on designated units, ensuring high standards of patient care.
- Collaborate with nursing and clinical teams to coordinate care and support LVN activities.
- Departmental Support:
- Assist in developing and implementing departmental plans and performance improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state healthcare regulations.
Patient Care:
- Assist with patient assessments, documentation, and care processes, including admissions, status changes, and discharges.
- Provide direct patient care within scope of practice as needed.
Communication:
- Report unit status to the House Supervisor and communicate effectively with staff, physicians, and administration.
- Serve as a resource and subject matter expert for nursing staff.

Licensure:
- Current state license as an RN or LVN.
- BLS certification required.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or liaison role preferred.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and patient care standards.
Skills:
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and provide direct patient care as needed.
