Are you passionate about shaping the future of emergency care? We’re looking for a Clinical Educator to facilitate high-quality clinical training to our frontline staff at Wellington Free Ambulance (WFA). CET is currently evolving to deliver a wide range of learning, and it is an exciting time to be involved in this significant change. There are two secondments available starting ASAP and ending in June 2026.
You will also be responsible for:
Delivering clinical education training encompassing online, face to face or blended to our front-line staff
Developing and implementing training materials and course resources
Developing and delivering bridging training programmes for new front-line staff
Developing supportive plans if gaps are identified
Work alongside learning design and learning management systems (LMS) specialists
We’re looking for someone who is committed to excellence in clinical education and thrives in a dynamic environment. You will have:
At least two years of experience as a Paramedic ATP or higher
A strong focus on your own professional development.
A passion for developing staff capability and clinical excellence.
Solid computer skills (MS Suite – intermediate level, PowerPoint – advanced level).
Exceptional communication skills, able to engage diverse audiences.
Flexibility to adapt to changing needs, including some weekend and evening training sessions.
The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Have a keen interest in adult learning principles
