Job description

NOVACES is hiring a Business Process Improvement Analyst who will provide analytical and project management capabilities to support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). This support will be coordinated through the DLA Headquarters (HQ) Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) Program Management Office (PMO) working directly with the Cyber Security office. The Cyber Support Business Process Improvement Analyst will work collaboratively with the customer to develop and implement strategies and plans for growth within the Cyber division, aligned with agency initiatives. This role involves supporting a variety of cyber-related tasks, some of which require access to secret/classified information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement relevant processes and technologies to optimize the organization’s internal operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process changes, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to operations.
  • Create process documentation and guidelines, including standard operating procedures and workflow diagrams.
  • Implement process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.
  • Develop and present process improvement plans to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with agency policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze current business processes, workflows and procedures to identify areas for improvement.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented process changes, measuring key performance indicators and making necessary adjustments for continuous improvement.
  • Provide training and support to team members on new processes and best practices.β€―

Requirements :

  • Minimum educational requirement is a BA/BS
  • Must have at least three years of Business Process Optimization or Continuous Improvement (Cybersecurity experience preferred).
  • Must have at least three years of experience consulting, advising, and working with federal government customers
  • Must have strong skills in MS Suite and Visio for process mapping, trained in Business Process Model and Notation (BMPN 2.0), and have demonstrated experience applying BMPN 2.0 in a DoD agency
  • Must be a Journeyman practitioner or industry equivalent certification in process improvement (lean six sigma green belt, recommended) and/or project management.
  • Must be able to secure a CAC and DLA systems access on the first day of work

Security Clearance:

Active DoD Secret clearance preferred. Candidates must be able to be successfully adjudicated for a DoD Secret (T3).

Job Type: Full-time
