POSITION SUMMARY:
The Saratoga Regional YMCA is hiring for a Wellness Coach & Personal Trainer and we are excited to have you join our team! This position assists members in achieving healthier habits through health & wellness by providing support, encouragement, and education. Ensures safety of all participants on the Wellness Floor.
The Personal Trainer will lead clients through designed fitness and exercise programs to achieve Health and Wellness goals. The ideal candidate will have the ability to complete assessments of clients and potential clients and be able to design fitness programs accordingly and also adjust to various client needs and fitness levels. Creates a safe and positive atmosphere that welcomes and respects all individuals and promotes safety in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures.

- Minimum age of 18 years old
- High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Current nationally accredited Personal Training Certification (NASM, ACE, etc.)
- 1+ years of Personal Training sales experience preferred, but not required.
- Experience in exercise program design for clients of various ages and fitness levels.
- CPR/AED and First Aid Certifications preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
