Job Description
This position is involved in planning, supervising, and implementing the Health Sciences programs, clinicals and
classes at the Osceola Technical College (oTECH) per the board of nursing regulations. Job duties include supervising day to day activities, supervising clinicals, instructing, working with instructors and students, compiling reports and completing activities per accreditation standards, recruiting and interviewing students, and growing our nursing program across campuses.
Required qualifications, skills and experience
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing and a clear/active professional nursing license in Florida. Valid County issued Teaching Certificate.
Five (5) years nursing experience, two years of which must be full‐time equivalent experience in a clinical practice as a licensed Registered Nurse. One year of experience in nursing home services, i.e., care of the elderly, chronically ill of any age, supervision
of Certified Nursing Assistants.
Experience as a teacher of nursing and prior supervisory experience is preferred.
