Job Description

The Impact You'll Make in this Role: 

As a Senior Freight Data and Process Improvement Specialist you have the incredible opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.  

Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Analyze and optimize freight costs and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements;
  • Develop and implement data automation strategies to streamline the collection and analysis of freight data;
  • Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and IT teams to integrate data automation solutions;
  • Provide insights and recommendations for senior management based on data analysis;
  • Active role in supporting value implementation plans, proposing and executing projects aiming at improving freight efficiency and reducing costs;
  • E2E Process design for Freight Cost.

Your Skills and Expertise

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in freight management, data analysis, or a similar role.
  • Experience in working with Supply Chain operations (Logistics, Intercompany).
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI).
  • Experience with creation data automation tools and technologies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Process reengineering experience
  • Project management experience
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma methodology
  • Advanced proficiency in financial tools and systems, such as SAP.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Ability to develop and implement supplier performance metrics.
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance standards.
  • Experience in developing and managing budgets for supply chain operations.

Job specifics: 

  • Work location: This role has on-site working model, with the employee working at least eight days a month in the office at 3M, located in Wrocław, Poland.

  • Working pattern: Full time
