We are seeking a highly experienced Clinical Consultant with deep perioperative expertise to support our clients in transforming surgical operations through data, technology, and change leadership. This individual will combine clinical credibility with executive presence, guiding health system leaders and frontline teams through workflow redesign, technology adoption, and measurable performance improvement.


The ideal candidate will bring a unique blend of surgical workflow knowledge, change management expertise, and startup agility—able to lead at the executive table, facilitate workshops with clinicians, and roll up their sleeves to execute in fast-moving environments.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to hospital executives, surgeons, and perioperative leaders, helping them achieve operational and clinical transformation goals.
  • Lead change management initiatives, including Lean Six Sigma workshops, governance planning, and executive communications.
  • Guide clients in adopting and optimizing video-based surgical software and analytics platforms to drive workflow improvements, training, and decision-making.
  • Facilitate governance structures and communication plans that ensure sustained adoption and measurable outcomes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across product, services, and commercial functions to ensure seamless client delivery.
  • Balance execution and leadership—comfortable performing consulting work directly while also coordinating and mentoring others.
  • Represent the company with professionalism, humility, and confidence in both strategic and operational settings..

Requirements
  • Clinical Background: Perioperative nurse (RN) or equivalent experience working extensively in and around surgery.
  • Change Leadership: Proven experience leading large-scale change management initiatives in healthcare, including Lean Six Sigma or other structured improvement methodologies.
  • Executive Engagement: Strong executive presence and ability to communicate, influence, and build trust with C-suite leaders,      physicians, and perioperative leadership.
  • Startup Agility: Ability to operate effectively in a high-growth, fast-paced environment—balancing hands-on execution with team      coordination and mentoring.
  • Attributes: High integrity, strong sense of agency, resilience, and a “go-getter” mindset. Trusted by peers and clients to      deliver.
  • Project Management Expertise (Preferred): Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects from initiation      through delivery. Experience with project planning, governance structures, risk management, and timeline accountability. 
  • Technology Enablement (Preferred): Hands-on experience with video-based surgical assessment, surgical intelligence, or analytics platforms to improve workflow, training, and outcomes.
  • Education & Certification: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field required; advanced degree preferred. Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt or PMP certification strongly desired.
