School Health Consultant

Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified School Health Consultant to join our team on a part-time basis. The consultant will be responsible for providing guidance and support to schools in matters related to health and wellness. The position will require time at our central office as well as visiting and collaborating with our member districts.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement health and wellness programs for schools
- Provide guidance and support to school administrators and staff on health-related issues
- Conduct assessments of school health programs and make recommendations for improvement
- Develop and deliver training sessions for school staff on health and wellness topics
- Stay up-to-date on current research and best practices in school health and wellness
- Collaborate with community organizations and healthcare providers to promote health and wellness in schools
- Provide individualized support to schools as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in public health, nursing, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in school health or a related field
- Strong knowledge of health and wellness issues facing school-aged children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
- Experience with virtual communication and collaboration tools is preferred.
