SBA Healthcare Sales Manager

 

United Community is seeking a dynamic and experienced SBA Healthcare Sales Manager to lead and grow our specialized healthcare lending vertical. This role is responsible for originating and funding SBA and USDA loans nationwide, while also managing a high-performing team of Business Development Officers (BDOs). 

 

The ideal candidate will bring deep SBA lending expertise, strong leadership skills, and a strategic mindset to drive production and team success.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit, coach, and retain top-performing BDOs to meet team production goals.
  • Achieve annual production objectives of approximately $15 million per team member, adjusted based on hire date and experience.
  • Originate SBA and USDA loans in the healthcare sector across the U.S.
  • Lead external marketing and prospecting efforts to generate new business.
  • Manage loan pipeline and production tracking for all team members.
  • Oversee marketing activities and budget for the healthcare vertical.
  • Ensure complete and accurate loan packages in compliance with SBA guidelines.
  • Collaborate with credit and special assets teams on servicing actions.
  • Travel as needed to support business development and team leadership.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years of calling experience in financial services.
  • Extensive SBA BDO experience in healthcare or specialized lending.
  • Demonstrated management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of SBA lending rules, regulations, and practices.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
