RN - Utilization Review

**Title** Registered Nurse – Acute Care **Schedule** Shift: 5x8 Days (Monday–Friday) Guaranteed hours: 72 hours per 2-week period **Assignment Details** Contract Length: Not specified **Requirements** - WA RN license in-hand required - BLS certification required - 1 year of acute hospital care experience - Charting experience in EPIC required - Familiarity with coding/quality: ICD-10, DRG, CPT, CMS, HEDIS, NCQA - Knowledge of regulatory/compliance standards: HIPAA, OSHA, The Joint Commission **Roles & Responsibilities** - Provide direct patient care and support for individuals in the acute care setting. - Monitor and assess patient health and report any changes to the healthcare team. - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. - Educate patients and families on health management and care plans. - Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in patient care. **Compliance / Notes** - Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, NYE, NYD). - Include all requested RTO at the time of submittal. - Parking: Facility-paid. - Background checks and required references must be disclosed at submittal.
