RN Clinical Educator / Infection Prevention

*As a Registered Nurse (RN), Provide advice & support to the Residents and their families.

*Monitoring Residents and administering medication and treatments.

*Documents Resident care services by charting in Resident & department records.

*Protect Resident & staff by adhering to infection-control policies & protocols.

*Resolves Resident problems & needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies.

*Assures quality of care by adhering to Facility philosophies & standards of care.

*Maintain Resident confidence by keeping information confidential. 

*Minimum of 20 hours a week on Infection Prevention

*Complete in-service training with clinical staff

*Management position*

*Be in the clinical on-call rotation

*Participate in daily manager meetings, weekly risk meetings, and monthly meetings as scheduled

*Should work well in a team environment.

*Current Registered Nurse (RN) License in the State of Alabama 

*Long Term Care / Rehab experience preferred.

*Excellent communication skills.
