**CA RN - Utilization Review Nurse** **Schedule:** Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Days: Five 8-hour shifts per week **Assignment Details:** Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 40 hrs/week **Requirements:** - Active California RN license - BLS and ACLS certification - Proof of negative TB screen within the past 12 months - Experience in Utilization Management **Roles & Responsibilities:** - Conduct utilization reviews for healthcare services. - Ensure compliance with appropriate clinical guidelines and policies. - Collaborate with healthcare teams to analyze patient treatment plans. - Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and insurance companies. - Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations and reviews. - Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the organization. **Compliance / Notes:** Housing recommendations: search FurnishedFinder.com, travelnursehousing.com, and Humboldt Craigslist/Housing/temporary-sublet.
