Position Details
This position will be assigned to the Process Management Group within the Recruitment Planning Section of the Global Talent Acquisition Department, which is responsible for recruitment across the entire Rakuten Group, Inc.
You will lead the analysis of mid-career recruitment data, identification of recruitment challenges, extraction of operational issues, and the planning and implementation of measures based on these findings, as well as the systematization of these processes. You will also participate in projects that involve collaboration with departments such as HR Planning/Labor, HRIS, Information Security, and the HR recruitment organizations of domestic and international group companies.
The Process Management Group within the Recruitment Planning Section is specifically responsible for the following tasks. The actual tasks you will be responsible for will be determined based on your experience.
- Aggregation, analysis, and extraction of issues from recruitment process data, and planning of measures
- Improvement of mid-career recruitment operations in accordance with various laws, HR systems, and the launch of new ATS features
- Formulation of operational rules and creation of manuals for the selection process (application reception, interviews, aptitude tests, reference checks, etc.)
- Proposing functional improvements for the recruitment management system (Workday) and coordinating specifications with the system department
- Standardization and automation of operations (utilizing RPA and AI)
- Selection and contract management of recruitment agencies and direct sourcing services
- Management, payment, and cost allocation of recruitment-related expenses and offer bonuses
- Management of offer letter details and approval processes
- Access management for recruitment management systems and file sharing tools
- Dissemination of information to all recruitment staff (portal site management, meeting management, etc.)
- Organization or arrangement of study sessions for recruitment staff and interviewer training
- Verification and support for obtaining candidates' English qualifications and residence permits

Work Environment
Currently, the team is composed of mid-career employees in their late 20s to 40s.
Members with diverse backgrounds, such as those with experience in corporate HR or recruitment agencies, are actively contributing to the team.
Mandatory Qualifications:
Candidates with any of the following experiences :
- Mid-career recruitment operations in a business company
- Operation/improvement of recruitment management systems or HR management systems (preferably Workday)
- Mid-career recruitment operations as RPO/BPO
- Excel: Data aggregation skills (Pivot, VLOOKUP, functions)
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in aggregating and analyzing recruitment process data
- Experience participating in cross-departmental business process improvement projects
- Experience in mid-career recruitment operations on a scale of 100 or more hires per year
- Experience creating operational/work manuals used by dozens of people
- Experience training contractors
- Business-level English proficiency
- Experience in HR and labor operations in a business companyĀ with 5,000 or more employees
