Job Description
Highland Hospital is seeking an experience RN to join the Quality team. 

The Senior Quality Improvement Coordinator, in alignment with the Director of Quality Management, is responsible to assure that the Quality Assurance/ Performance Improvement Plan is implemented throughout the organization. 

Essential Job duties include:
  • Supervision of Quality Improvement Coordinators to assure timely completion of assigned responsibilities including case abstraction, peer review processes and professional practice evaluation. 
  • Facilitation of assigned Clinical Service Quality Committees and event investigation to assure achievement of organizational quality and safety goals and objectives.
  • Coordination of event investigations to assure timely comprehensive review, identification of appropriate risk reduction strategies, performance improvement activities and ongoing monitoring.
Salary Range:
$85,280-$112,033 annually

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

  1. Education: Fulfill the requirements to be an RN in NYS.
  2. Experience:  Two years of experience at the level of a quality improvement coordinator.  Leadership or management experience preferred.
  3. License/Certification Required:  RN license required. CPHQ preferred
  4. Skills (to include equipment, software, etc.): Consistently demonstrated leadership skills and ICARE values, excellent oral and written communication and collaboration skills, critical thinking skills, data management and analytical capability, computer skills to include Microsoft products, familiarity with the electronic medical record.  Requires the ability to work independently and in collaboration with quality teams, QM department leadership and department colleagues.
