Description

Skills of Central PA is seeking for a Full-Time Quality Improvement/Compliance Specialist. This position will be based at the Corporate Office in State College, PA. The schedule for this position will be Monday through Friday 8am-4pm, with flexibility required due to the nature of the position requirements.


The Quality Improvement/Compliance Specialist will report to the Senior Director of Quality Improvement & Compliance and will be responsible for assisting in providing continual risk assessment and in the development of policies and procedures, protocols, compliance training, and internal investigations.


Essential duties and responsibilities of the Quality Improvement/Compliance Specialist include, but are not limited to:

  1. Conducting internal investigations as a primary responsibility, including compiling detailed reports with recommendations to the Administrative and Management staff.
  2. Compile reports regarding investigation, findings, recommendations, action plans established and progress towards completion of actions plans.
  3. Assist in the development of quality improvement and compliance policies and procedures.
  4. Assist in the process of data collection and the analysis of data submitted by regional staff related to quality improvement and compliance.
  5. Assist in the development of compliance training materials and the delivery of ongoing compliance training throughout the company.
  6. Assist with compiling summaries of licensing citations, recommendations and best practices to enhance quality of supports.

Requirements

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience


SPECIAL JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES

A strong administrative skill set is a necessity including:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Computer literate in Windows-based environment
  • Knowledge and experience in human service evaluation design, measurement, and statistical analysis
  • Knowledge of human service compliance
  • Ability to develop and implement staff training programs
  • Ability to understand complex regulations and state and federal laws
  • Ability to maintain the accuracy and confidentiality of information
