The Kent County Health Department invites applications for the position of Public Health Educator I – Substance Use Prevention Education.
This is a professional level position in the field of public health education with responsibility for planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of health education programs and strategies related to the prevention of youth substance use and abuse. Further program responsibilities include health awareness, group behavior change, and risk reduction services directed toward diverse individuals and groups. Duties will be performed in collaboration with an internal substance use prevention team in the Health Education and Promotion Section of the Community Health Strategy Division.
