Your area of work

As a Process Specialist, you will drive efficiency and continuous improvement of core corporate processes in Deutsche Börse Group. In this role, you will shape and improve company-wide corporate processes to enhance user experience, reduce complexity, and deliver measurable results. Thereby you are using state-of-the-art methodologies, AI, innovative tools and project management approaches. By collaborating across functions, you will help establish transparent end-to-end processes and drive continuous improvement through structured frameworks and employee-driven innovation initiatives.

 

Your responsibilities

  • You lead and manage end-to-end process improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals and measurable outcomes.
  • You develop and implement project plans for process optimization initiatives, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • You collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify inefficiencies and drive improvements
  • You facilitate the WorkFlows initiative by evaluating employee-submitted ideas, coordinating implementation, and tracking impact.
  • You monitor initiative progress, manage risks, and report on key performance indicators to ensure sustainable and scalable improvements using Lean Six Sigma, DMAIC, and other methodologies.
  • You apply structured project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, PMI, PRINCE2) to plan, execute, and monitor transformation initiatives.
  • You document lessons learned and best practices from completed activities to support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across the organization.
  • You ensure governance and quality assurance by applying standard Process Management best practices

 

Your profile

  • You have successfully completed your university degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • You have at least 5 years of professional experience in process improvement, operational excellence, or business transformation.
  • You have proven experience with Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt preferred, Black Belt optional) and process management tools (e.g., Visio, Signavio, Bizagi).
  • You bring strong analytical skills and a proven ability to lead cross-functional projects from planning to execution.
  • You are experienced in change management and have successfully delivered initiatives using structured methodologies.
  • You are proficient in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA) and excel at managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • You communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and foster collaboration across teams.
  • You are passionate about digital transformation and ideally already have experience with tools like Power BI, PowerApps, or RPA platforms.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English – German knowledge is an advantage.
