Position Summary:
Reporting to the Director, Process Improvement and Client Orientation, the Process Improvement Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the development of a strategic vision for process efficiency and client orientation for the Administration and Finance units by providing expertise in process optimization and data analytics. The process improvement analyst will support the development of a data driven culture by identifying and implementing KPIs and dashboards to support process efficiency and client-centric orientation. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and identify areas for process improvement.
  • Conduct benchmarking analyses supporting the assessment of the efficiency and effectiveness of existing processes.
  • Designs and participate in the implementation of business process models, data analysis reports, and dashboards.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to management based on data analysis and research.
  • Work with teams to implement process changes and monitor their effectiveness.
  • Develop training materials and provide support to staff regarding new processes and or to support client orientation.
  • Track key performance metrics to assess the impact of implemented changes and make necessary adjustments.
  • Assist in preparing presentations and reports for senior management.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of new business processes and systems


Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities

  • Superior oral and written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to conduct focus groups and consultations.
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to transform data into recommendations.
  • Proficiency gathering data for analysis purposes and applying both quantitative and qualitative analytical methods.
  • At ease working with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, etc.
  • Experience with developing and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma methodologies, certification is an asset
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong ability to research, evaluate, and recommend technological solutions (AI, automation, etc,) and internal process improvements.
  • Must be detail-oriented with a proven ability to manage, integrate, effectively communicate, update and document constantly changing information.  
  • High degree of flexibility and organization to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, with the ability to prioritize and meet strict deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, business analysis, statistics or computer science and 3-5 Years of Related Experience as a business or functional analyst, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience, preferred.
