In this highly technical, fast-paced, and rewarding position, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for patients. The Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Clinical Specialist position is to perform professional, clinical tasks to maximize appropriate antimicrobial usage leading to optimization of patient care.
Your Job Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy
• Licensed as a registered pharmacist by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy
• Current or within 30 days of hire: CPR and Advanced Cardio Life Support certification maintained every 2 years
• Required: Two years residency training with PGY2 residency in Infectious Diseases, OR Infectious Diseases Fellowship, OR PGY1 residency plus minimum of 3 years experience in Infectious Diseases with certification from the Board of Pharmacy Specialties certification in Infectious Diseases or Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists for Antimicrobial Stewardship
• Preferred: Experience in an acute care hospital as a clinical pharmacist
