About the Role
Healthcare Navigators deliver specialized services over multiple channels by acting as a single point of contact, maintaining ownership of the patient experience, and navigating optimal care. Manage and coordinate elevated member experience (IE: access to care, provider selection and outreach, discharge, and billing) with confidence and a sense of urgency.
POSITION’S ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Customer service focused.
- Coordinate patient in-take and scheduling.
- Take ownership of patient navigation from in-take all the way through potential surgical episode including follow up visits and ancillaries.
- Incentive compensation plan to hit key milestones (TBD) measured by patient reviews/satisfaction. o In-take and scheduling conversion

- Take ownership of the patient’s experience from beginning to end, minimizing handoffs to ensure service continuity and reduced effort for the member.
- Establish and build a strong rapport with patient and internal counterparts.
- Guide understanding of health benefit coverage including accumulators, explanation of benefits, out of pocket maximums, and reimbursement levels.
- Interact with patients, clinicians and service providers while leveraging technology to streamline and simplify healthcare complexities and make it easy for our patients to work with us. Anticipate patient’s needs and conduct research on their behalf to resolve current and anticipated future issues.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Graduate or equivalent. College degree preferred.
- Able to communicate in English verbally and written.
- Previous experience in a customer service/sales experience setting.
