We are seeking experienced consultants to support a large-scale Electronic Health Record (EHR) advancement project focused on Oracle Health Cerner Millennium systems. This project spans the full system development lifecycle—from design and build to go-live and sustainment—and aims to digitally transform clinical workflows, improve patient safety, and advance electronic documentation across multiple healthcare facilities.

Ideal candidates will join a cross-functional consulting team and collaborate with internal stakeholders, healthcare providers, and technical experts. Multiple roles are available across training, implementation, system configuration, clinical integration, compliance, and evaluation.



Requirements

Responsibilities 

Below are representative activities across the five project phases. Candidates will be assigned based on experience and project phase alignment.

Phase 1 - Design and Build

  • Requirements gathering and DCW completion

  • Non-prod configuration

  • Test Script development

  • Unit, system testing and integration testing

  • Production build and configuration

  • Domain copies and build

  • Development of architecture strategies

Phase 2 - Validation and Preparation

  • Stakeholder validation session facilitation

  • Workflow analysis and design

  • Integration and interoperability testing

  • Training of sustainment teams

  • Create detailed architecture diagrams and blueprints

  • Policy, guideline and procedure development

Phase 3 – Training

  • Development of end-user training curriculums

  • Training facilitation and materials (scripts, assessments)

  • “Train-the-trainer” sessions

  • Workflow reviews and simulation

Phase 4 - Cutover and Go Live

  • Cutover planning and coordination

  • Go-live “at-the-elbow” support

  • Virtual post-go-live user support

  • Issue tracking and resolution

  • Access fair support

Phase 5 - Operationalization and Sustainment

  • Compliance and adoption auditing

  • Benefits evaluation and reporting

  • Quality assurance and data management

  • Policy and practice revision

General Qualifications 

  • Experience with 2 or more Canadian clients for Oracle Health/Cerner EHR advancement

  • Knowledge of Cerner Millennium application

  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Experience working in a remote office environment

  • Flexible availability for PST business hours (Mon–Fri, 8:30–4:30)

  • Willingness to work evenings/early mornings/weekends during go-lives

  • Ability to travel to rural healthcare sites as required

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Team player with excellent collaboration skills

  • Strong organization and coordination abilities

Pharmacy & Lab Consultants

  • Domain-specific module configuration (PharmNet, Gen Lab, Blood Bank, Micro)

  • Test script development and execution

  • Analytical and technical troubleshooting skills

HIM/Core Consultant

Cerner Build Consultants

  • Independent configuration across multiple Cerner solutions
