Ready to champion mental wellbeing through early intervention and preventative care?

This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference across diverse workplace settings, delivering proactive, people-centred support where it matters most.

About the Role

This role is ideal for a mental health professional who thrives on variety and values a preventative, impact-led approach to care. You’ll work across a range of workplaces delivering a blend of proactive interventions, from roaming wellbeing check-ins and 1:1 brief interventions to tailored group education and psychoeducational programs.

Your Impact

You’ll play a key role in embedding mentally healthy practices into the workplace by proactively connecting with individuals and teams, offering early support. Your work will include:

  • Delivering short-term, solution-focused mental health coaching and 1:1 counselling via face-to-face, telehealth, and blended modalities
  • Proactive “walking the floor” and wellbeing check-ins to engage employees and build rapport
  • Facilitating toolbox talks and manager peer support to drive early engagement
  • Supporting employees with personal and workplace challenges using solution-focused approaches
  • Developing and documenting tailored support plans and facilitating warm referrals to GPs, EAPs, or specialist services
  • Leading group education sessions on resilience, emotional intelligence, mindfulness, stress and change management, and psychosocial risk
  • Collaborating with Onsite Injury Prevention Specialists and other key stakeholders to deliver integrated, client-focused care

What We’re Looking For

  • We’re seeking a mental health professional who brings both clinical expertise and a practical, people-first approach.
  • Relevant qualifications in and current registration with PACFA (Level 3+), ACA (Level 3+), AHPRA, or AASW
  • 3+ years’ experience in short-term counselling, mental health coaching, or similar brief intervention support
  • Skilled group facilitator or presenter, with excellent time management and communication strengths
  • Proven ability to engage confidently across a range of workplace settings, industries, and client groups
  • Solid understanding of common workplace mental health challenges and psychosocial risk factors
  • Comfortable working independently and adapting to different onsite environments
