Position: On site Healthcare Data Analyst

Reports To: Chief of Operations

Status: Full-Time Exempt


Nature of Position:

The Healthcare Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting healthcare data to support clinical, operational, and financial decision-making. This role is responsible for transforming data into actionable insights that improve patient outcomes, enhance care delivery, and support compliance with HRSA, UDS, EHR implementation and other reporting requirements.

Requirements

Responsibilities:


1. Data Collection, Management, and Integrity

-Extract, clean, and validate data from Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems

(e.g., Epic, eClinicalWorks), practice management systems, and other sources.

-Maintain data integrity through regular audits and reconciliation.

-Develop and manage databases, dashboards, and data visualization tools

(Power BI, Tableau, Excel, etc.).


2. Reporting and Compliance

-Work closely with all leaders in the organization to prepare required reports in

grants management, finance, productivity, PCMH, UDS and other related

deliverables.

-Support internal and external data requests, ensuring compliance with HIPAA

and data security standards.


3. Performance Improvement and Population Health

-Analyze clinical quality measures, operational metrics, and patient outcomes to

identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.

-Develop performance dashboards and track progress toward organizational

goals.

-Support population health management initiatives, including risk stratification,

chronic disease management, and preventive care outreach.


4. Collaboration and Communication

-Work closely with leadership, clinical teams, dental teams and program

managers to translate data findings into actionable strategies.

-Present data in a clear, concise manner for both technical and non-technical

audiences.

-Train staff on data literacy and the use of dashboards or reporting tools.


Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

-Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Public Health, Health Informatics, Statistics,

Computer Science, or a related field required. Master’s degree preferred.

-2+ years of experience in data analysis within healthcare, public health, or an

FQHC setting preferred.

Performance Metrics

-Accuracy and timeliness of required reporting (UDS, QI, grants).

-Quality of dashboards and analytics products.
