Full-Time, Undergraduate Nursing Faculty/Simulation Associate Position
The Frances M. Maguire College of Nursing and Health Professions at Gwynedd Mercy University invites applications for a full-time undergraduate nursing faculty position. This 9-month appointment may be either tenure or non-tenure track. Rank and salary will be commensurate with education and teaching experience.
We seek a dynamic and student-focused educator who is passionate about preparing the next generation of nurses through innovative teaching, experiential learning, and simulation-based instruction. Expertise in community health, medical-surgical nursing, pharmacology, and simulation-based learning is highly desirable. Priority will be given to candidates with a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) credential.
Responsibilities:
The faculty member will teach undergraduate classes in in-person, hybrid, and/or online formats; provide student support both inside and outside the classroom; and participate in academic advising. The role also includes collaborating with the Simulation Coordinator to integrate, deliver, and evaluate simulation-based learning activities. Engagement in departmental, university, and professional service is expected, along with active participation in student recruitment and admissions events. The successful candidate will be a dedicated teacher-scholar committed to evidence-based practice, experiential learning, and inclusive pedagogies.
