Are you interested in a career in medical devices, logistics, or surgical sales?

We are seeking an Orthopedic Medical Device Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience supporting the logistics and operations that contribute to successful orthopedic surgeries. You’ll work closely with experienced professionals who manage instrumentation, coordinate surgeon training labs, and support operating room teams.

A 90-day probation period applies to all interns. A minimum six-month commitment is required for this internship. Hours are flexible based on school schedules; however, interns must be available to work at least 20 hours per week.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with instrument and implant tray logistics, including stocking, tracking, and organization.
  • Support deliveries and pickups between hospitals, surgery centers, and company facilities.
  • Set up and break down cadaveric labs and surgeon training events.
  • Respond promptly to all chatters, emails, calls and other essential communications.
  • Maintain warehouse organization and assist with product receiving, labeling, and distribution.
  • Record and update inventory logs, usage reports, and loaner kit documentation.
  • Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure seamless product support.
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills

Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in or recent graduate of a degree program in Health Sciences, Business, Logistics, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Knowledge and background of human anatomy (preferred)
  • Highly organized, proactive, and eager to learn.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and assist with lab setup.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
  • Interest in healthcare, operations, and medical technology.
  • Minimum six-month commitment with availability of at least 20 hours per week.
  • Background check and drug-screen required prior to employment
