PURPOSE OF JOB:
This position will support Route 92 Medical's efforts to facilitate professional education programs, including peer-to-peer programs, fellows initiatives and virtual webinars. This person will create and lead customer programs and curricula to differentiate and educate on Route 92 Medical products while, embracing innovative technologies and building strong relationships with KOLs. The ideal candidate would have a history of building successful physician educational programs in the medical device industry. This position will also work with the entire Medical Affairs team to assist and collaborate on projects while aligning scientific data with clinical practice, stakeholders, and ensuring regulatory compliance throughout the product lifecycle.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This role will have the responsibility for executing the medical affairs strategy in close coordination with the company's strategic goals
- The individual in this role will represent Medical Affairs at Route 92 Medical externally and internally within cross-functional teams, working closely with Commercial, Business Development, Product Marketing, Regulatory, and Quality teams to cross collaborate.
- Create education programs for customers on company products, clinical benefits while aligning curricula with business objectives.
- Analyze participant feedback to enhance program quality.
- Develop and maintain a network of KOLs for program collaboration.
- Complete administrative duties and reports promptly
- Maintain required documentation with current and complete information, including appropriate notations of customer interactions and responses to medical information requests and/or unsolicited off-label inquiries/discussions
- Coordinate and follow up of the educational grant and sponsorships management process
- Build sustainable partnerships with US key opinion leaders and scientific community (experts, HCPs, scientific societies, etc.) to ensure that Route 92 Medical’s product portfolios are appropriately incorporated and positioned
- Prepare tailored clinical presentations for Route 92 Medical’s collaborators and other key opinion leaders
- Lead the development of scientific and medical education content for in-house training and other appropriate staff as required, and ensure suitability of clinical education content in collaboration with Marketing and other relevant internal stakeholders
- Future collaborating with Health Economics consultants to strategize and develop the necessary evidence to gain or improve reimbursement
- Work closely with Marketing, Marketing Development, or the product life cycle team to support the execution of the current and future product launch strategies, and ensure internal and external launch readiness
- Represent medical affairs by providing clinical expertise in interactions with R92M’s sales and marketing, business development and other commercial cross-functional groups.
- Ensure that all activities are carried out in compliance with regulatory guidelines, HCBI and company policy
- Collate and provide department performance metrics, reporting and communications to internal stakeholders
- Identify process efficiencies, coordinate the development of process improvements and develop standard operating procedures as needed
SKILLS FOR SUCCESS:
- Previous medical device sales experience
- Adaptable to a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and focus on the identification of potential issues and continuous improvement
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite, Dropbox, Camtasia

- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in the medical device industry and/or medical affairs
