Position Description:
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Location: Remote

To provide and manage patient care in a clinical area for specific age and patient populations. To deliver care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation; working within codes of practice and professional guidelines. To accurately and efficiently triage telephone calls that are received from patients, caregivers, relatives and other members of the healthcare team. To prioritize patient's health problems according to their urgency, educate/advise patient, schedule patient appointments and make safe, effective clinical decisions under the direction of the patient’s physician.

Position Requirements:
Graduate from an accredited Practical Nursing program or equivalent and two (2) years of licensed practical nurse (LPN) experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Successful completion of all IDX classes required.

Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing required. Currently certified with Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required or must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
