Job Description

Lead Behavioral Health Case Manager

Job Description: The Oklahoma Crisis Recovery Unit (OCRU) is seeking a Lead Behavioral Health Case Manager to join its team. Located in the Oklahoma City metro area, OCRU provides non-hospital emergency intervention for adults experiencing mental health challenges, substance use disorders, or co-occurring conditions. In this role, the Lead Case Manager will be responsible for providing leadership to direct care staff, encouraging communication between staff and units at the facility, conducting chart audits, and fulfilling direct care job duties as needed.

Job Type/Salary:

  • Full-time position
  • Base Salary: $54,000.00 ($25.96/hr) 
  • FLSA Status: Exempt
  • Number of Vacancies: 1

Minimum Qualifications and Experience: 

  • 36 (thirty-six) months of direct, documented experience working with persons with mental illness and/or substance use disorder and possess a High School Diploma, General Equivalency Diploma (GED), or High School Equivalency (HSE) Credential and three (3) years of professional experience; or

  • The completion of 60 (sixty) college credit hours and a minimum of 12 (twelve) months of direct, documented experience working with persons with mental illness and/or substance use disorder and three (3) years of professional experience; or

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in any field from a regionally accredited college or university recognized by the United States Department of Education (USDE) and have a minimum of six (6) months of direct, documented experience working with persons with mental illness and/or substance use disorder and three (3) years of professional experience; or

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a behavioral health related field earned from a regionally accredited college or university recognized by the United States Department of Education (USDE) and three (3) years of professional experience; or

  • Have a current license as a registered nurse in the State of Oklahoma with documented experience in behavioral health care and three (3) years of professional experience.

Special requirements: 

  • Willing to fulfill any job-related travel
  • Contingent to training availability, Department sponsored case management certification will be completed within 30 days of start date.
