Schedule Details/Additional Information:

Provides support as needed and assists with community events focused on injury prevention, primarily during school hours but also events on weekends and evenings. Acts as the Trauma Services liaison to the local Safe Kids coalition. Delivers education and distributes materials to address identified safety concerns. Participates in educational initiatives such as Safe Kids, Safe Teens, Fire Safety community outreach, and Stop the Bleed programs.

Essential Functions

  • Assists with the delivery of quality education classes.
  • Functions independently in the planning, development, and implementation and evaluation of classes.
  • Maintains awareness of current trends in specified areas of training/education.
  • Utilizes appropriate principles and effective communication skills in working with students.

Physical Requirements
Requires walking, standing, sitting, reaching, bending, stooping, pushing and pulling. Must be able to lift and support the weight of 20 pounds in handling equipment. Must speak understandable English. Intact sense of sight, hearing and touch.



Education, Experience and Certifications

Associate Degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred. Valid driver's license required. Must have reliable transportation.

$24.85 - $37.30
