Teamed is seeking a senior Instructional Designer to lead the analysis and strategic redesign of clinical education programming for surgeons and other healthcare professionals across APAC.
The first engagement focuses on training related to endoscopic visualization systems and associated surgical equipment used in minimally invasive procedures. The role will begin with a comprehensive needs analysis and curriculum review, culminating in a structured development blueprint for updated clinical training.
This is an architecture-first role. The primary deliverable is a documented learning strategy and phased development planβnot immediate content reorganization and production.
The selected candidate will assess existing clinical and marketing materials, define measurable learning objectives, account for regional differences across APAC markets, and design a practical, scalable education framework that can be deployed within current LMS constraints (Cornerstone).
Key Responsibilities
Conduct a structured learning needs analysis across clinical stakeholders and internal teams
Audit and evaluate existing source materials (marketing decks, clinical documentation, current training assets)
Identify performance gaps, content redundancies, and sequencing issues
Define clear, measurable learning objectives aligned to device use and clinical performance
Account for regulatory, cultural, and market differences across APAC regions
Develop a structured curriculum map and learning pathway for surgeon and clinical audiences
Recommend delivery modalities and execution strategy within current technology constraints
Propose a practical deployment model given limited LMS administrative infrastructure
Produce a comprehensive design blueprint outlining asset types, sequencing, regional adaptations, and phased development roadmap
Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and incorporate feedback prior to development approval
Qualifications
7+ years instructional design experience
Demonstrated experience leading needs analysis and curriculum architecture initiatives
Strong content strategy, synthesis, and editorial capabilitiesExperience designing technical, product-based, or clinical education programs
Ability to align education design to clinical performance and device utilization outcomes
Familiarity with LMS deployment strategy (Cornerstone preferred)
Ability to collaborate during Singapore morning hours
Preferred Experience
Experience designing education for clinician audiences (surgeons, OR teams, healthcare professionals) preferred
MedTech, healthcare device, or surgical training background
Experience designing learning programs across multiple international markets
Comfort leveraging AI tools to support content analysis and design efficiency
