Infrastructure Software Engineer (Healthcare AI Platform)

We are looking for a talented Infrastructure Software Engineer to build and scale the core infrastructure powering a medical AI platform used by healthcare providers. We are a healthcare technology company building an AI-native clinical platform that provides medical evidence-grounded answers to clinical questions for doctors.

This role is hybrid onsite in Miami, FL.

Job Duties:

• Design, implement, and operate new backend services and APIs.
• Develop and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain and optimize key backend resources like databases, caches, and load balancers.
• Own and operate key backend production services.
• Institute technological and operational processes to improve site reliability.
• Contribute to ongoing company product discussions.
• Coordinate with software engineers, ML engineers, and product designers to determine and execute platform requirements.
• On-call escalation (about one week per month, daylight only).

Ideal Background:

• High proficiency building and operating backend services at scale and architecting cloud-​native backend services
• High proficiency with Terraform or similar IaC/infrastructure tooling
• Moderate proficiency with DevOps tooling such as Docker and Python/Javascript packaging
• Moderate proficiency with Python and Google Cloud
• Experience with Django,​ Django REST Framework,​ Postgres is a plus
• Experience with MLOps and LLMOps is a plus
• Proven track record of building and scaling production systems.
• Experience architecting and scaling infrastructure ecosystems, from service reliability to data platforms.
• Experience handling sensitive medical data at scale.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
