SUMMARY 

The Flex Clinical Support role is designed to provide flexible support to the clinical team, assisting with case management duties and facilitating assigned hours of evidence-based group therapy sessions per week. This individual will be responsible for conducting case management intakes, managing case management tasks, assisting with financials, and performing additional duties as assigned by clinical leadership. The role requires a person with strong time management skills, experience working with the mental health population, and the ability to function effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. 

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday 

JOB FUNCTIONS 

Case Management: 

  • Complete case management intakes, ensuring all documentation is timely and accurate. 

  • Assist clients with financial concerns related to treatment, including payment plans and insurance verification. 

  • Support ongoing case management tasks such as coordinating care, scheduling appointments, and ensuring continuity of services. 

  • Document all case management activities in Kipu and ensure compliance with clinical documentation standards. 

Group Therapy Facilitation: 

  • Facilitate evidence-based group therapy, utilizing CBT, DBT, or other therapeutic modalities as appropriate. 

  • Engage clients in structured group discussions, providing therapeutic interventions and fostering a supportive environment. 

  • Ensure that group sessions are documented accurately and promptly in Kipu. 

Collaboration and Team Participation: 

  • Participate actively as part of the multidisciplinary team, collaborating with therapists, medical staff, and leadership to ensure the highest quality of care. 

  • Attend and contribute to team meetings, treatment planning sessions, and clinical supervision. 

  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and collateral contacts to support treatment goals. 

Other Duties: 

  • Assist with various clinical tasks as assigned by clinical leadership. 

  • Flexibly support the clinical team by filling in where needed, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality client care. 

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE   

  • Graduate from an accredited college or university in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or health related field preferred.  

  • 1 or more years addiction treatment center experience and case management preferred 

  • Licensed Therapist, Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern, Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC). 

  • CPR/AED/First-Aid certified within 30 days of placement in role.
