Role Overview: The Junior Healthcare Consultant (or Analyst) provides the logistical, analytical, and communications backbone for federal healthcare programs. Operating as part of a cohesive contractor team, you will support mission-critical initiatives designed to accelerate the discovery and spread of healthcare solutions. This role is tailored for professionals with a foundational understanding of federal consulting who are eager to develop expertise in health innovation, project coordination, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule and document key stakeholder meetings, track action items, and maintain program-level dashboards to ensure leadership visibility into project health and performance metrics.
Utilize and maintain project data within enterprise tools including Microsoft, Jira, Salesforce, and Smartsheet.
Support the execution of surveys and application intake processes; synthesize qualitative feedback and quantitative data to measure program effectiveness.
Develop professional marketing collateral, newsletters, and briefing materials in alignment with federal branding and Section 508 compliance standards.
Provide virtual and on-site logistics support for large-scale national conferences, technical workshops, and stakeholder engagement events.
Conduct market research on emerging health technologies and assist in drafting technical documentation, implementation guides, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Comfort working independently and as part of a cross-functional team across remote and distributed settings
Experience developing 508-compliant communications products
Required Qualifications:
Experience: 5-8 years of professional experience, preferably in a federal consulting firm or government agency; direct experience supporting the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) strongly preferred.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Public Health, Political Science, or a related field.
Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in an Agile environment; excellent written communication and attention to detail.
Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust or higher security clearance.
Technical Aptitude: Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Planner, PowerPoint) and collaboration tools like Mural or Miro.

Must be a U.S. citizen
Must be eligible for VA background investigation
Ability to obtain and maintain a government-issued Personal Identity Verification (PIV) badge and VA email account
Work Location
Remote with periodic on-site support at VA facilities as required. Travel to VA Medical Centers, VISN offices, and event locations may be required (estimated 10–20% travel depending on project assignments). Candidates in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area are preferred.
