About the Opportunity

A growing and highly respected financial services provider is looking for an experienced Healthcare Administrator to join their expanding team in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town.

This role is ideal for a detail-driven professional with strong expertise in medical aid, medical insurance, GAP cover, and healthcare-related client servicing within the South African financial services sector.

You will play a key role in supporting financial advisers and their clients by ensuring efficient administration, accurate claims processing, and exceptional service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and manage new applications for medical aid, medical insurance, and GAP cover
  • Handle day-to-day administration and servicing for allocated clients
  • Accurately process and manage medical aid and GAP cover claims
  • Respond to client enquiries professionally and within agreed turnaround times
  • Escalate complex queries where required and follow through to resolution
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate, compliant, and up to date
  • Maintain excellent service standards to support client satisfaction and retention
  • Participate in training to stay current with product and regulatory updates

Minimum Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in healthcare administration within the South African financial services industry
  • Strong working knowledge of:
    • Medical aid schemes
    • Medical insurance
    • GAP cover
    • Employee benefits
  • NQF 4 qualification (minimum)
  • Wealth Management NQF 5 or Higher Certificate in Wealth Management
  • Excellent Afrikaans and English communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proven ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines
  • High attention to detail and excellent record-keeping ability
  • Strong interpersonal and client relationship skills
