At SNAHC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $34-$36.
The Health Informatics Analyst (HIA) is a critical steward of SNAHC’s data ecosystem—responsible for obtaining, interpreting, validating, and sharing meaningful insights that drive clinical quality, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making. The HIA bridges clinical operations, IT, and leadership by ensuring that accurate data is consistently delivered to the right stakeholders, both internally and externally. This role transforms complex datasets into actionable intelligence through clear reporting, tailored dashboards, and collaborative communication, supporting a culture of data literacy and continuous improvement across the organization.
Essential Functions:
- Acquire, validate, and maintain data from clinical, operational, and external sources, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and reliability through data profiling and quality assurance.
- Analyze and interpret data to deliver actionable insights to clinical and operational teams; communicate findings in alignment with organizational goals.
- Design and develop user-friendly dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as SQL and Power BI to support data-driven decision-making.
- Provide timely data updates and performance summaries to executive, clinical, and operational leadership, tailored to their informational needs and technical fluency.
- Act as a liaison between departments to translate business needs into data requirements and offer technical and strategic recommendations.
- Ensure internal and external stakeholders (e.g., funders, regulatory agencies, health plans) receive consistent, accurate reports aligned with standards such as HEDIS and other regulatory metrics.
- Contribute data analysis and operational insight to initiatives involving panel management, population health, clinical workflows, and strategic planning.
- Assist in maintaining and optimizing EHR data workflows (e.g., NextGen); establish and enforce protocols for data access, governance, and use.
- Monitor data trends and anomalies; proactively address inconsistencies, data gaps, or risks to data integrity.
- Document workflows and support process improvement efforts using data-informed strategies.
- Promote data literacy by training users on tools and cultivating shared understanding of metrics and outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations, including HIPAA, OSHA, sexual harassment laws, and Scope of Practice standards
- Leads in internal quality improvement teams. Works with the team members proactively to drive quality improvement initiatives in accordance with the mission and strategic goals of the organization, federal and state laws and regulations, and accreditation standards.

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience in healthcare-related environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in SQL and relational database systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Demonstrated experience with relational database management systems.
- Proficient in MS Office 365 with advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work across diverse teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Public Health, Computer Science, or a related field OR equivalent work experience.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Experience working in a Community Health Center or Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC).
- Knowledge of clinical workflows and experience with EHRs (NextGen preferred).
