Position Overview: 

We're looking for an energetic and passionate certified group fitness instructor to join our top-notch fitness and wellness team at FORTH. If you have experience in yoga, spin, barre, Pilates, HIIT, Zumba, or other fitness styles, we want to hear from you. You'll be leading fun and motivating group classes for our hotel guests and club members in our 20,000-square-foot fitness center. With state-of-the-art strength training, cardio equipment, room to stretch, and boutique class studios, you'll help create a welcoming and inclusive community through fitness. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Class Instruction: Lead high-energy, motivating, and effective group fitness classes across multiple disciplines, including yoga, spin, Pilates, HIIT, Zumba, and any other specialty areas.
• Personalization: Tailor classes to accommodate various fitness levels, ensuring a challenging yet achievable experience for all participants.
• Member Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with members, providing exceptional customer service.

• Class Planning: Develop and implement class experiences and programming that align with the needs and interests of our diverse membership base.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all classes are conducted in a safe manner, adhering to industry standards and hotel/club policies. Provide modifications and alternative exercises to accommodate individual needs.
• Facility Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and well-equipped fitness environment. Report any equipment issues or safety concerns promptly.
• Continuing Education: Stay updated with the latest fitness trends and certifications to continually enhance class offerings and personal expertise.

Qualifications: 

• Certifications: Valid and current certifications in yoga, spin, Pilates, HIIT, Zumba, and/or any additional fitness certifications are .
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience teaching group fitness classes in a luxury hotel or high-end environment preferred.
• Skills: Exceptional communication, leadership, and motivational skills. Ability to engage and inspire a diverse group of participants.
• Physical Requirements: Must be physically fit and able to demonstrate exercises and movements effectively.
• Education: Relevant degree or training in exercise science, physical education, or a related field is a plus.
• Insurance: Must already have or be able to secure the required liability insurance necessary to lead group fitness classes at FORTH.

Compensation: 

• We pay a competitive rate of $45-$70 per class, depending on experience. This is a part time, 1099 contractor role.

Schedule Availability: 

• Mornings/ evenings M-F
• Mornings/ afternoons on the weekend
• We are looking for a reliable instructor who has the availability to lead a set amount of classes on a consistent weekly basis.
