The Department of Neurology Biostatistics and Clinical Informatics Section at UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking an M.D. or Ph.D. trained health informatics research scientist with masters-level training in health informatics to join our interdisciplinary team with the IMAGINe Lab (Informatics for Multidisciplinary Advancement, Guidance, and Innovation in Neuroscience) for an exciting opportunity leading a portfolio of federal, state, and foundation-funded clinical and research informaticsw projects leveraging electronic health record data and multimodal research data to support clinical care and research in the neurosciences. Working in collaboration with and under the mentorship of the Principal Investigator, the clinical informatics research scientist will participate in all phases of research, from study design, budget planning, and grant writing to data analysis and writing manuscripts for dissemination to academic conferences on their path to independent researach. The successful candidate will collaborate with reserch participants and with other research team members, including data scientists, informaticians, electronic health record analysts, members of collaborating research groups in the Department of Neurology, the Peter O'Donnell Jr. Brain Institute, and the Clinical Informatics Center, and students of the UTSW Master of Science in Health Informatics Program.
