SUMMARY:

 The EHR Clinical Trainer is responsible for delivering clinical and EHR training to nursing, medical assistants, and provider staff. This role requires a strong working knowledge of EHR policies and procedures, with emphasis on performance improvement, quality initiatives, and documentation standards. The trainer provides instruction in alignment with clinic policies, evaluates trainee progress through observation and assessment, and communicates effectively with staff, managers, and physicians. Responsibilities include onboarding, ongoing support, and training for both new and existing employees and providers on EHR systems and clinical workflows.

 PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Formal clinical training is preferred, CMA or LPN certification strongly desired.
  • Candidates with relevant clinical experience in ambulatory or outpatient settings will also be considered.
  • Experience providing training or support on EHR systems is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of EHR systems (Athena preferred) and ability to develop training materials and documentation.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; ability to adapt training style to various skill levels and roles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.

 PHYSICAL GUIDELINES:

 Physical guidelines include the ability to move, traverse, position self, remain in a stationary position and negotiate steps for up to eight hours per day.
