JOB PURPOSE: The Director of Clinical Education elevates the clinical expertise and competency of internal staff and external stakeholders through the development and delivery of relevant curriculum for all Complex Rehabilitation Technology (CRT) stakeholders; thereby driving the adoption of clinical and compliance best practice in the CRT Service and Delivery Model. The compensation range for this position is $115,000-$130,000.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
§ Develop and execute a comprehensive clinical education strategy aligned with company goals and identified market needs.
§ Conduct learning needs assessments to identify requirements for course material and training methods for all clinical education programs across the company.
§ Collaborate with the management team to identify and provide training needs for staff and various external stakeholders e.g. clinicians, payers, case managers and payers
§ Utilize business intelligence to identify trends requiring educational intervention.
§ Manage and mentor the Clinical Education Team. Provide leadership and guidance to all team members to ensure seamless delivery of educational content in all formats
§ Oversee the development of clinically relevant and engaging curricula. Ensure all content is accurate, up to date and compliant with industry standards.
§ Develop and manage the annual budget for the clinical education department including travel costs, venue rental, investment in tools and technology, team salaries etc. Tracks expenses and provide regular reporting to senior management.
§ Manage external relationships with industry partners in education including speaker engagements, joint educational initiatives and partnership agreements.
§ Ensure maintenance of accreditations required to provide Continuing Education Units (CEUs) to various Licensed/certified Medical professionals (e.g. OTs/PTs)
§ Ensure all new initiatives, policies and procedures, guidelines, or other necessary updates are incorporated into orientation/training programs.
§ Develop post-program surveys and processes to obtain participant feedback.
§ Provide feedback, recommendations and corrective action plans to management team regarding outcomes/feedback.
§ Provide field communication to all Leadership regarding changes/trends that require education assistance.
§ Utilize Numotion Leadership Principles to perform job with integrity, compliance, and values consistent with Numotion’s mission.
§ Adhere to employee or customer confidentiality and comply with Numotion’s policies and federal regulations.
§ Provide excellent customer service for all internal and external customers of the operations at all times. Provide solutions for customer concerns and continually focus on customer service as our top priority.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
§ Bachelor’s degree in related field or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
§ Minimum of two years of business development experience in Complex Rehabilitation Technology or related field.
§ Proven ability to develop and manage a Clinical Education strategy, including curriculum development and delivery using a variety of methods and modalities.
§ Minimum of two years of supervisory experience, including leading, mentoring and/or coaching.
PREFERRED COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:
§ Current Assistive Technology Professional certification.
§ Clinician (OT, PT, COTA, PTA, RN) or health related degree.
§ Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design practices.
§ Strong organizational and project management skills.
§ Demonstrates ability to thrive in a matrixed environment, working with cross functional team members to achieve shared goals.
§ Understands the business impact of training programs and aligns efforts with strategic organizational goals.
§ Proven prior ability to act as a change agent and leading the acceptance of change within a rapidly changing environment.
§ Ability to develop and execute multiple business priorities and approaches to meet objectives.
§ Ability to effectively utilize technology and learn and adapt to innovative technology environments.
§ Demonstration of exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills both internally and externally with customers.
§ Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively address all levels within the organization.
§ Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
