Responsibilities

Manages EPIC/enterprise system applications in the areas of ongoing user support/training, dictionary, maintenance, system enhancements, problem analysis, resolution and troubleshooting.  Works with vendors and other IT staff to coordinate hardware installation, maintain and oversee changes, corrections, enhancement to the Clinical Systems.  Acts as a liaison for Departments for Clinical System issues.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

 

1.            High School Diploma required for all new hires starting 4/1/14

2.            Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Healthcare field, Business Discipline, Healthcare Management, Health Information management or Information Science or equivalent experience preferred.

3.            2 years work experience in a hospital setting required

4.            Clinical experience preferred.

5.            Interpersonal skills necessary to deal with and establish working relationships with physicians, hospital personnel and co-workers.
