Description

 

 Specialty Dental Brands (SDB) partners with leading specialty dental practices across the U.S., in 25 states, providing centralized operational support while allowing dentists to maintain clinical autonomy. As an Clinical Systems Analyst at SDB, you will bridge the gap between clinical operations and technology by supporting the implementation, training, and optimization of dental software systems across our network. Your role is essential in helping teams integrate technology into patient care workflows to improve efficiency, accuracy, and the overall patient experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the software conversion and implementation process for new and existing customers.
  • Demonstrates expertise in technical translation, listening, and oral communication skills.
  • Perform a system analysis, including consultation with current users to determine the hardware, software, and/or system function specifications.
  • Assist the office staff in determining a software, product solution, and business flow that will suit their needs.
  • Recommend improvements and upgrades to software as appropriate.
  • Act as an ongoing advisor to staff regarding their technology structure and software features.
  • Perform technology demonstrations and other activities to help support staff development.
  • Prepare and deliver instructor-led training sessions face to face or via technologies as applicable.
  • Install and troubleshoot software, hardware, and digital components with assistance from technical support.
  • Collaborate with the software vendors to resolve software and product issues as necessary.
  • Prepare, coordinate, and conduct online and personal meetings.
  • Professionally represent Specialty Dental Brands to internal and external customers per company policies and procedures.
  • Complete all administrative and technical duties (i.e., activity tracking, expense accounts, feedback, reports for pre- and post-training, etc.) within compliance procedures and policies.

Requirements

 

  •  High school diploma or a related field preferred. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a education.
  • 2-3 years of experience in dental practice operations, healthcare IT, or dental software implementation and support.
  • Preferred but not required: experience with dental practice management systems (e.g., Dentrix, Open Dental, Eaglesoft, Dolphin, Cloud9).
  • Prior experience in the use of and training of technology-related dental/healthcare products and equipment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, remote meeting tools (Zoom, Teams), and digital training platforms.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, especially when working with clinical audiences.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to travel regionally for go-lives, training, and support (up to 50%).

60k-65k
