Are you a committed and compassionate LPN or RN looking to provide meaningful overnight clinical support in a group home setting? We are currently seeking a Clinical Support Nurse to join our team during night shifts. This role does not involve staff management but focuses on providing high-level clinical oversight and direct care support for individuals with developmental and medical needs.

π Reports To: Assistant Director of Nursing
π Key Responsibilities

Clinical Oversight (Night Shift)
- Serve as the clinical point of contact across group homes overnight
- Respond to urgent needs, assist with medical follow-ups, and ensure continuity of care
- Support and guide overnight direct care staff (LPNs, CNAs, and DSPs)
- Ensure all care plans and shift notes are followed and documented properly
- Perform medication checks, cart audits, and ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols

Training & Compliance
- Reinforce standards for hygiene, safety, and proper documentation
- Educate staff on medical protocols and individual health plans
- Monitor infection control and universal precautions
- Maintain compliance with APD, DCF, FDOH, and OSHA regulations

Communication & Administrative Support
- Communicate with leadership and day shift nurses to ensure seamless transitions
- Assist with follow-ups, care documentation, and medication logs
- Participate in audits and help maintain charts and records
- Document and report any incidents or concerns per policy
π Requirements
- Current Florida LPN or RN license (required)
- BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
- Minimum 3 years of clinical leadership experience (Lead, Supervisor, Case Manager, or Floor Nurse preferred)
- Experience with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities
- Comfortable with medically complex care (vents, trachs, G-tubes preferred)
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel to assigned group homes
β Preferred Qualifications
- Prior work in group homes, behavioral health, or long-term care
- Familiarity with Medicaid waiver programs and Florida healthcare regulations
π° Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $30.00 β $37.00 per hour (based on experience & license type)
