Position Overview

The Support Specialist – MIPS & ACO Reporting will play a key role in guiding healthcare providers and ACO participants through the annual quality reporting process. This individual will provide hands-on support to ensure accurate data collection, timely submission, and compliance with CMS requirements. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience with healthcare quality programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist providers and ACO participants with MIPS data collection, validation, and submission.
  • Provide guidance on CMS reporting requirements, measure selection, and compliance deadlines.
  • Troubleshoot reporting issues and coordinate with internal teams or external vendors as needed.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of CMS regulations, MIPS scoring methodologies, and ACO reporting requirements.
  • Support internal reporting workflows, including documentation, tracking progress, and preparing submission files.
  • Serve as a resource for providers and staff with questions regarding MIPS, ACO quality measures, and performance improvement.
  • Participate in training sessions, webinars, and outreach initiatives to educate stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Required:
    • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, public health, or related field (or equivalent experience).
    • Familiarity with CMS MIPS reporting and ACO quality programs.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, reporting platforms, and EMR/EHR data extraction.
    • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work collaboratively with clinical and administrative staff.
  • Preferred:
    • Experience in healthcare compliance, quality reporting, or population health management.
    • Prior work in a healthcare practice, ACO, or healthcare consulting environment.
