We recognize your critical role in maintaining surgical and clinical excellence, offering a highly competitive hourly rate with a base starting at $15.00+, based on experience and qualifications. Additional compensation given based on individual performance and team performance.

BASIC DUTIES:

As a Clinical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for critical support functions that ensure safe, efficient, and sterile surgical operations, including:

  1. Sterile Processing & Surgical Support:
    • Clean, sterilize, and package surgical instruments and tools following strict infection control guidelines.
    • Assemble and maintain surgical procedure kits to meet daily clinical needs.
    • Assist with operating room turnover and prepare surgical spaces between procedures.
  2. Medical Supply Inventory & Logistics:
    • Manage inventory levels of medical supplies and surgical materials.
    • Track usage, perform stock rotation, and coordinate with procurement teams for timely replenishment.
    • Receive and label shipments, inspect deliveries, and ensure supply chain accuracy.
  3. Linen & Gown Processing:
    • Manage the collection, laundering, and distribution of surgical bed linens and patient gowns.
    • Maintain strict cleanliness and hygiene protocols.
  4. Facility & Clinical Readiness:
    • Support clinical areas by ensuring clean, organized, and well-supplied environments.
    • Assist with general setup and breakdown of procedural rooms.
  5. Support of Clinical Team Operations:
    • Provide auxiliary assistance to medical and nursing staff during routine and procedural care.
    • Support infection control audits, safety checks, and clinical equipment maintenance logs.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience in a sterile processing or medical support environment preferred.
  • High attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols consistently.
  • Ability to work on your feet, lift supplies, and handle physical tasks in a fast-paced clinical setting.
  • Strong organizational skills and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe clinical environment.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 25% to regional locations.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, teamwork, and adaptability.
