Position Summary: Full time (1.0 FTE) M-F. Provides office support for schedule optimization, to the suite and department. Interacts with patients, fellow co-workers and providers in a positive and professional manner. Ensures all patient and departmental needs are met.
Essential Job Functions: Performs under limited supervision and considerable latitude for independent judgment, following the standard procedures while, performing complex secretarial and administrative duties in a fast-paced environment in support of clinical, educational, and academic programs. Responsible for clinic schedule preparations, including but not limited to, optimizing provider patient schedule, coordination of patient care, patient outreach and information/data support.
Must maintain confidentiality according to HIPAA & Strong Health Guidelines. Adheres to the Highland Promise Standards of presenting yourself in a positive, professional manner, being respectful of each other and our patients, providing a safe and clean environment, providing excellent care and working as a team.
Salary Range:
$19.50 - $25.00 hourly
The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
Qualifications:
Associates degree in medical, Secretarial or related field and a minimum of two years of relevant experience required; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Medical terminology, experiences with fully integrated electronic appointment scheduling and medical record preferred. Demonstrated customer relations skills.
Population Served: Culturally diverse, neonates through geriatrics.
